Subpar locking mechanism

After using this daily for over a year it is now time to permanently retire the Ring v2. The locking mechanism is way to flimsy and opens on its own at the least opportune moments. For instance when I'm holding my keys and open a door with the same hand, the slight pressure of my palm can unlatch the lock. The previous model (Ring v1) was superior in this regard, even though it used a a plastic semicircle housed inside a thinner metal semicircle, it never opened when I didn't want it to.

I had been using the first version daily for almost the last three years, and it was very worn out, so it was time for an update. I am very happy with the new one. It's much lighter, looks much more robust and has a better design. It works perfectly.

Simplicity and Convenience

It is simply, it is easy to use and it is very convenient.

Works exactly as described and looks exactly as pictured. The mechanism feels strong and there is no stress of it opening up by itself, in your pocket or otherwise.

Very happy with this purchase. It would be even better if you could have the option of multiple ring sizes but other than that, highly recommended.
